Another major automobile bank opts for international GUARDEAN solution from
SHS - initial deployment in Austria

Munich, Germany, February 02th 2006 – SHS Informationssysteme AG, Munich,
today announced that DaimlerChrysler Services Austria GmbH will utilize SHS
software to make financing decisions for its leasing customers. The
Austrian leasing subsidiary of globally operating DaimlerChrysler Financial
Services AG will use GUARDEAN whenever a customer inquires about leasing
options for Mercedes, Chrysler, Jeep or smart vehicles. Within a matter of
seconds, the system determines the customer's creditworthiness based on
numerous internal and external sources of information.

Being able to make faster loan decisions with GUARDEAN gives financing
companies a competitive edge. Ulrich Sick, managing director of
DaimlerChrysler Services Austria GmbH, comments: 'The new software provides
our vehicle dealers with fast and reliable support in connection with the
conclusion of leasing contracts.' The SHS solution automates the business
process of loan granting by reducing manual elements to a minimum. 'If we
can make a positive financing decision while our customers are having a cup
of espresso in our showroom, customers will also make faster decisions in
our favor,' says Ulrich Sick.

DaimlerChrysler Financial Services AG is yet another major captive
financial services provider that has opted for the GUARDEAN solution from
SHS. The software is already being used successfully by Toyota, BMW and VW.
Udo Neumann, CIO Europe of DaimlerChrysler Financial Services, comments:
'We selected SHS as the provider with the greatest technical expertise and
excellent references. The introduction of Guardean in Austria also serves
as a proof of concept for other markets of DaimlerChrysler Financial
Services.'

In recent years, SHS has managed to obtain a leading position as a systems
provider for European automotive banks. 'By adding another major
international corporation like DaimlerChrysler to our customer base, we
have become a benchmark for automotive banks,' said Dirk Roesing, chief
executive officer of SHS.
