Munich, 8 March 2006 – Viveon, the Munich-based business and IT consultancy
and subsidiary of SHS Informationssysteme AG, has been presented with the
Bavarian Quality Award for outstanding achievements in the field of quality
and quality management. Stefan Gilmozzi, CEO of Viveon, accepted the award
in the category of “Business-oriented Service Providers” from Erwin Huber,
Bavarian State Minister of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and
Technology. The award ceremony was held last night in the
Allerheiligen-Hofkirche of the Munich Residenz.
“The Bavarian Quality Award is an important accolade for us. It endorses
our pursuit of quality and is an incentive for us to continue following our
own path. We’re pleased that the fulfillment of our ambitious quality goals
has been recognized outside of the company by an independent body,” said
Viveon CEO Stefan Gilmozzi.
Since February of this year, Viveon AG has belonged to the Munich-based
solution provider SHS Informationssysteme AG and has thus been part of a
strong corporate group for customer and credit risk management with around
600 employees. With its high standards of quality, it covers the entire
value chain - from strategic consulting and integration to credit
assessments and customer value analyses - and represents a unique
concentration of expertise in customer value management.
SHS CEO Dirk Roesing believes that this award for Viveon confirms the
strategy of SHS: “The transparency of quality services is critical in our
industry. By merging with Viveon, we have increased the technological lead
of our service portfolio and strengthened it through the addition of a
leading consulting expert in the German-speaking region.”
Since 1993, the Bavarian Quality Award has been presented by the Bavarian
State Government in five categories. The award is given to companies which
have made outstanding achievements in the field of corporate quality.
Viveon AG, which was founded in 2000, has proven its quality expertise in
numerous projects for large, renowned companies such as BMW Financial
Services, Danone, E.ON, O2, Orange and UBS Card Center.

The Bavarian Quality Award was created in 1993 by the Bavarian State
Government. It was the first award of its kind in Germany. It recognizes
Bavarian companies which implement extensive, company-wide quality
assurance concepts with innovative solutions, as well as Bavarian
communities which create business-friendly conditions through the continual
pursuit of quality. The Bavarian Quality Award is presented in five
categories: “Industry,” “Crafts and Trades,” “Retail, Wholesale and Foreign
Trade”, “Company-oriented Service Providers” and “Business-friendly
Communities”. The award consists of a certificate and a glass pyramid
statue. Information on the Bavarian Quality Award can be found at
