SHS VIVEON lays the basis of a more personalized customer service for online photo service Pixum

Munich, February 2, 2012 - SHS VIVEON, solution provider for complete customer management, provides online photo service Pixum with a foundation for thoroughly understanding the wishes and needs of its customers. The aim, in constructing an intelligent information base, is to address customers in a more targeted and individual fashion in future and to use exclusive offers to retain them over the long term.

Pixum (www.pixum.de) is one of the leading providers of online photo services in Germany and in Europe. As the digital camera has swept all else before it, the market for developing photos and photo gifts has also markedly changed. The demand for customer-created calendars and Pixum photo books is constantly on the rise and this has made the market for photo service providers more competitive. In order to differentiate themselves clearly from their competitors in this respect, Pixum's focus is on providing a consistent, customer-oriented service across the board – from technical support and user-friendly software right through to individual advice.

This requires an in-depth understanding of the needs and desires of their customers. To further develop this understanding in future, Pixum has decided to set up a sound and intelligent information base in the form of a business intelligence platform. Business and IT solution provider SHS VIVEON is currently working with Pixum to identify decision-relevant information, to selectively evaluate this, and to derive from it a series of relevant conclusions for further personalized interactions with its customers.
